We start by building skills in reading and work recognition before moving on to advanced level comprehension, critical thinking in reference to complex fiction and non-fiction texts, vocabulary, grammar, memory skills, essay writing… we’ve got your child’s bases more than covered, no matter what their current skill level and ability is.
All the appropriate support and guidance is provided to help students improve their reading skills, as well as learning how to find and extract important information from source material to present well-informed and well-presented arguments during class participation, coursework and exams.
Depending on your child’s ability in English as revealed during their initial assessment with our expert tutors, we will cover everything from repeating and reciting to learning to read and write, how to build sentences and paragraphs, text and character summary, comprehension, reasoning and critique/critical thinking.
